Tags Loader: Load Third-Party Tags Based on Consent

The Tags Loader in your UniConsent dashboard loads third-party tags only when the visitor's consent allows them, without changing your website code. It is available for IAB TCF Advanced and Consent Categories projects.

Turn It On

1. In your project settings, turn on Enable Custom Vendors.
2. Open the Custom Vendor Tags Loader tab and add a tag.
3. Paste the tag's HTML, choose what it is bound to, then save and publish the project.

Bind To

Add custom vendors in the Other Vendors tab of the Vendor List first (How to Manage Vendors). On a Consent Categories project, a custom vendor follows category 4, Targeting or Advertising.

When Tags Load

• Each tag loads once per page, as soon as the consent it is bound to is given: at page load for a stored choice, or right after the visitor's choice.
• Where no banner applies, tags load at page load.
• After a US "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out or Global Privacy Control, tags bound to a custom vendor, to category 4, to IAB TCF purposes 3, 4 or 7, or to a sensitive custom purpose do not load.
• Tags bound to an IAB TCF purpose never load where a Consent Categories banner applies: Brazil, China, South Africa, Vietnam and the countries your other countries rules cover. Bind those tags to a custom vendor or a custom purpose instead.

Tags in Your Page Code

For tags that are in your page code, use UnicScript attributes, or a Google Tag Manager trigger on unic_data (Third party JavaScript Tags Integration).
