UniConsent
On May 16th, UniConsent CMP began the certification process to become a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), following Google's announcement of a new certification requirement for partners utilizing Google publisher products.
UniConsent CMP Initiates Certification Process for Google's Certified CMP
Google introduced a new certification requirement for partners using Google publisher products, such as Google AdSense, Ad Manager, and AdMob. This requirement mandates the use of a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP).
UniConsent has been a certified Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) CMP since the program's launch and has already implemented support for Google's Additional Consent Mode in September 2022.
This change follows the IAB EU's announcement regarding the release of TCF V2.2.
UniConsent is one of the few CMPs to support IAB TCF EU, IAB TCF Canada, Google's CCPA specification, Google's Additional Consent specification, GPP, and MSPA specification.
UniConsent CMP works in conjunction with Google Consent Mode, enabling you to adjust the behavior of your Google tags based on your users' consent status.
UniConsent has implemented Google Additional Consent to support vendor companies that are not yet registered with the IAB Europe Global Vendor List but are included in Google's Ad Tech Providers (ATP) list.
UniConsent CMP is a certified CMP for IAB TCF, working with leading publishers and serving tens of millions of users per day to provide a seamless privacy experience for both users and publishers in the post-GDPR era. Contact us to learn more: hello@uniconsent.com
