"The office found several shortcomings that, as a result, violate the protection of personal data, even at large Internet companies that reach hundreds of thousands of people a day. In the first half of the year, we gave operators space to adapt to the new legislation. However, we now, on our initiative, monitor compliance and reach out to administrators who violate the law in this area to seek redress. If it does not happen, we will proceed with sanctions, primarily of a financial nature." - The Chairman of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, Jiří Kaucký.
