UniConsent saves a visitor's cookie categories choice as a short string: in the unic-consent cookie on websites and the UNIC_unic-consent key in apps. It records when the choice was made and which categories are allowed: Strictly Necessary, Performance, Functionality, and Targeting or Advertising. It is used where a cookie categories banner applies, such as LGPD in Brazil, PIPL in China, POPIA in South Africa, PDPD in Vietnam, your rules for other countries, or a cookie categories project.

The choice for your custom vendors, the vendors you add outside the IAB TCF vendor list, saved in the uniconsent-v2 cookie on websites and the UNIC_uniconsent-v2 key in apps. The decoder shows the vendor IDs consented, as numbered in your project's vendor list.
